Important Notice from Kakikofu

Respectfully,

This is Hiroshi, in charge of acupuncture at Kakikofu.

Since July, my wife, Kaori, had been hospitalized for LVAD implantation surgery. Thanks to everyone’s support and encouragement, she successfully underwent the operation and was discharged from the hospital on September 12.

We are truly grateful for the many warm messages and encouragement we have received.

At present, she has gradually begun returning to work, though with shortened clinic hours.

Thankfully, we continue to receive many inquiries from foreign patients, both residents in Japan and travelers.

Going forward, Kampo consultations and acupuncture treatments will remain by appointment only.

Please note that we may not be able to accommodate walk-in visitors without reservations, so we kindly ask that you book in advance whenever possible.

For those seeking Kampo medicine, we recommend completing and submitting the online intake form beforehand, which will make the consultation process on the day much smoother.

We have come this far not only through modern medical treatments but also by actively making use of the strength of traditional medicine, particularly Kampo.

For those who are fighting the same illness, or who are suffering from intractable and unknown diseases, we hope to show that there is also a path in Kampo medicine.

If we can offer even the smallest ray of hope, it is with this intention that we will continue our work.

We sincerely hope you will continue to place your trust in Kakikofu.

Respectfully yours,
